I’m Tierra Finley, the calligrapher and design director behind Tierra Finley Designs. Let me be the first to admit it; I am obsessed with the beauty of all things creative, from calligraphy all the way to illustrations. The first time I discovered my love for handwriting and art was at the age of three. It started with chalk-stained hardwood living room floors, which eventually evolved into a colorful mural across my bedroom walls by the time I was in high school.

Today, my love for creating has evolved into ink and nibs, deckled paper, and pretty much any material that you can think of. 

After graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (I-L-L) in 2015, my creative journey led me to receive my certification in Wedding and Event Planning. From there, I was able to merge my life-long passion for handwriting and art with my wedding expertise.

I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Chicago, and when I take a moment to put my pen down, you can find me trying some of the best sushi in town, green tea in one hand, and a great book in the other.  I also love a great adventure outside of the city.

One of my greatest adventures, however, is sharing this journey with you as we creatively bring your unique vision to life, one letter at a time.
